Richard de Sousa is the co-founder and CEO of AltCoinTrader, one of South Africa’s first and largest cryptocurrency exchanges. After founding Netspace Internet Solutions in the early 2000’s, de Sousa began exploring Bitcoin in 2011 for client eCommerce opportunities. He quickly saw the powerful technology and ideology behind it, and began building AltCoinTrader, which launched in 2015 with significant success. Based in Johannesburg, Africa’s economic hub, AltCoinTrader offer over 20 cryptocurrencies for trading directly in South African Rands, as well as Gold and Silver KrugerRands.
