American singer, songwriter, and producer John Legend introduced a new non-fungible token (NFT) platform for musicians and other entertainers.
The NFT platform called “OurSong.” will enable artists to tokenize and sell their work, rewarding buyers with benefits such as access to unreleased music and private chatrooms.
Stories, music, photography, and other forms of art can now be transformed into NFT with the help of trading cards called Vibes. The platform grant you access to exclusive content and private chat communities.
To attract new artists and their fan bases, John will serve as Chief Impact Officer. His partners in the project are Chris Lin, CEO of KKBOX; Kevin Lin, Co-Founder of Twitch; and Matt Cheng, CEO of Cherubic Ventures.
Chris Lin says the platform will not require a cryptocurrency wallet. It allows you to deposit OSD in OurSong with a credit card, debit card, wire transfer, or USD Coin using your Circle wallet. OurSong also offers gifting options.
