Gateway.fm, a leading Web3 infrastructure company and core contributor to Ethereum, Polygon, and Gnosis, has officially joined the LF Decentralized Trust, an initiative under the Linux Foundation focused on advancing open-source technologies for decentralized identity, data privacy, and digital trust infrastructure.

This strategic move positions Gateway.fm among an elite group of contributors helping define open standards for secure, decentralized data handling. As enterprises, financial institutions, and public sector organizations explore the transition from siloed systems to open ecosystems, Gateway.fm brings deep technical expertise in zero-knowledge (ZK) cryptography, modular blockchain design, and regulatory-aligned infrastructure to the LF Decentralized Trust community.

As a first step in its contribution to LF Decentralized Trust, Gateway.fm will participate in the upcoming Privacy for Financial Services Workshop on June 23rd-24th in New York, where CEO Pradeep Singh will present how selective disclosure – a feature that enables controlled access to information stored on a blockchain – can be implemented on Ethereum Layer-2 networks using zero-knowledge technology. The session will explore how enterprises can achieve regulatory-grade privacy on public blockchains without sacrificing openness or interoperability.

“Joining LF Decentralized Trust is a natural step in our commitment to accelerating the adoption of decentralized technologies across enterprise and public sectors,” said Pradeep Singh, CEO at Gateway.fm. “As core contributors to Ethereum, Polygon and Gnosis, Gateway.fm combines deep protocol expertise with a strong understanding of enterprise needs. We believe that decentralized infrastructure is already capable of meeting the demands of large-scale, real-world use cases.”

For years, enterprise adoption of blockchain centered on private and permissioned frameworks. These Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) offered the privacy, control, and modularity demanded by enterprise consortiums. However these closed architectures lack the interoperability, scalability, and ecosystem integration. Private, siloed blockchain solutions – once seen as the safest path for enterprises – are rapidly becoming a limiting factor.

Today, a new paradigm is emerging. ZK-powered Layer-2 solutions like Polygon CDK deliver the same privacy and compliance capabilities of permissioned blockchains while unlocking interoperability, global liquidity, and the composability of Ethereum. These Web3-native architectures are fast becoming the foundation for modern, modular financial infrastructure.

Gateway.fm brings a Web3-first mindset and an infrastructure blueprint tailored for the next wave of enterprise blockchain adoption to its membership in LF Decentralized Trust. With deep expertise in zero-knowledge proofs and successful deployments of enterprise-grade systems, Gateway.fm is uniquely positioned to guide traditional institutions toward open, scalable, and compliant decentralized systems.

“The pace of blockchain and ledger innovation is accelerating, creating new demands and opportunities in the enterprise market,” said Daniela Barbosa, General Manager, Decentralized Technologies at the Linux Foundation, and Executive Director of LF Decentralized Trust. “For the last decade, our community has been leading the way in developing a continuum of private and permissioned platforms that meet the enterprise need to balance scale, cost, and openness with realities of compliance, competitiveness, and privacy. With its focus on enterprise infrastructure, Gateway.fm will be a welcomed new resource to our community and ecosystem as we collectively build and implement the frameworks that enterprises need to reach the full potential of decentralized technologies.”
