South Africa’s AltCoinTrader has announced that it will be listing Shiba Inu (SHIB) on its platform on 19 May 2021. To celebrate this listing, AltCoinTrader is giving 40,000 FREE SHIB tokens to every active client.
This is the second time the exchange has given away free tokens. In 2018, AltCoinTrader gave away 200 DOGE to every active client. At the time, DOGE was worth around R5,60, but at today’s prices, that same 200 DOGE is worth nearly R1,500! AltCoinTrader has effectively given away hundreds of millions of Rands to their community!
According to the Shiba Inu tokens official website, SHIB is an ERC20 token running on the Ethereum network. The website describes the token as the “dogecoin killer”.
Speaking to Global Crypto, AltCoinTrader’s CEO, Richard de Sousa said:
“Once again, we are giving away 40,000 tokens to every single active client. At today’s value, it is around R12, so it might not seem much, but if our clients are to hodl them, in years to come this could once again amount to hundreds of millions of Rand.”
Adding that “It stands to reason that you would want to have an AltCoinTrader account because of these constant giveaways and the way we look after the community.”
In order to qualify for the giveaway, all you need to do is:
- Have a verified level 2 (or above) AltCoinTrader account with a positive balance (either ZAR or cryptocurrency).
- Have two factor authentication (2FA) installed on your account.
Deposits are currently active, allowing clients to deposit SHIB into the AltCoinTrader account.
